I can not believe that i have not done anything on my blog for 2 years, what am I like spend so much time looking at others that i just forget to put things on mine. sorry that the picture is a little bit out of focus that could be due to the drink (hahahaha) I took this photo yesterday in are local pub and it is a very local one as it is only about 50ft from are front door. We went in the morning to see the Morris dancers then stayed and ended up playing Jenger which is great but when you have had a bit to drink it is very hard. We moved to Cornwall a year and a half ago for quite life that is a joke the village that we moved to is very only has a shop, pub and church but the social life is great, always something going on most weeekends the people have made us feel very welcome.

Herspace-myspace today is SURPRISE a reaction to something unexpected, have you had any surprise of late.

This photo is of what my husband brought me Valentines day the Jack Johnson CD was in the car all wrapped up so when I went out to the car to take daughter to work found it there we are going to see Jack Johnson in concert in July in Newquay, so getting his new CD was really great what a sweet heart.

Wednesdays herspace-myspace was TOWER a tall narrow construction either free standing or forming a part of a building.

Sorry couldn't think of anything to put so this is my recycle tower, not very intresting

Tuesdays herspace-mysapce was FUNGUS mold, yeast, mushroom or toadstools.

This is was taken in the village shop, nice fresh Cornish mushrooms OOOOOO.

Sorry haven't been around well I have been but just having a lot of trouble with blog it has taken me 11/2 to get this on because it just will not let me put photo's on then it leaves great big space. Never mind will get there one day.

Tuesday Night Crop

I did this layout on Tuesday night at Scrapangels crop in St.Agnes in Cornwall. The layout was using Fancypants papers, brizzill card and clear bottoms that we stuck onto the paper. The large word was Love but with no O on it so I put a heart were the O should be. LOVE is "having you in my life" these pictures were taken on our wedding day 23 years in August, oh that seems as if it was only yesterday how time flys. Do go over to scrapangels site as you can get these kits monthy and she does some great kits also if you live in Cornwall you have to go to her shop it is a wonderful shop also Rebecca has online shop.

Papertake weekly challenge

This is my card for papertake weekly challenge. I have used my sizzix machine for this card, I used the large tag die to make the card, the rabbit die and egg die for the front bits on the card. The words are peel off in yellow I have put ripped bits of paper round the eggs. The ribbon at the top has been shrunk using my heat gun, my friend caroline told me about doing that.

This is a picture of how my daughter has left her cupboard this morning before going to work, well she is in for a big shock when she gets home it has to be tried. I don't know what it is about teenages or maybe it is just mine but they just like to live in a tip, she was never like this when she was younger she always woke up early just to make sure her room was tried before she went of to school, well maybe when she is in her twentys it will change. Hahahaha I wish, I hope that she doesn't see this as I will be in trouble. :~(

I have made this card for papertake weekly I have made this for my friend jill who is 40 tomorrow.

I have used a wood 40 and painted with acryric paint dabber pink sherbet colour.

Paper at the top is Junkitz shabby chic multi Flower and the paper at the bottom is Junkitz shabby chic multi dots. The ribbon is from Little silver hat as well are the flowers then there are little crystals on the flowers. The "have a fab day" I typed out on the computer.

I decorated these MDF letters that I got for christmas from my eldest son (he got them from Hobbycraft). The letters were covered with odd bits of paper that I had, I then put a flower with a large pink brad with a rubon with the words LOVE. I used ribbon that I got from Little Silver Hat.

The other project that I did back in Januray but only just finished it of this weekend, It is a Maya Road Blossom chipboard album, I can't remember what the papers are called, I used ribbon to close the album. There is felt flowers, felt hearts and gems. The photo's that I used are photo's from eldest sons wedding last year.

This layout I did last night it is of my daughter Emily, I just love this paper as I love fairies I just had to have it. The back ground paper is "once upon a time" fairy dust, I covered her name which is chipboard with "once upon a time" palace throne then put glossy accents on it. The words are from the "once upon a time" range, the words are Mischievous little pixie, Little princess, the little words say Beautiful, Princess and Fairy. I then put two flowers and crystals in the corner.

Well this is a layout that i did in my scrapbooking class the ladies were all getting on so didn't need my help so thought i would try and do a layout of my own.

The picture I have used is the only Halloween picture that i have and it is of my friends children (have none of my own children). For the layout I have used orange and black bazzil, striped doodlebug paper cut into stripes, Large Halloween rub on, two pumpkins stamped out onto orange bazzil then cut out and added Halloween brads, Halloween ribbon. The sticker are doodlebug.

New Years Resolutions

Did this layout last weekend at http://www.scrapangels.co.uk/ it is a new class that rebecca that owns the shop has started for this year it is called aan album through the year. It is to create a double-page spread for you ablum the class is once a month which means at the end of the year I should have 24 pages done.
January pages were to do with resolutions, soon the first page I wrote down what I would like to do this year.
1. De-clutter the house, 2. Read more books, 3. Get all my un-finished craft bits finished and do lots more scrapbooking, 4. Try and go on lots more walks on the moors and get fit, 5. Paint our bedroom and make it more Tranquil, Enjoy lots of weekends away in the van with peter, 7. Take part in the Race For Life at the eden project.
So at the end of the year I can look back and see what I have been able to do.

On the second page I put photo's to do with what my new year resolutions are, I still need to put two more photo's on a de-cluttering photo and a photo of our van.

Well will try and add something later but I have a scrapbooking class to get ready for tomorrow, If any ladies reading this and live in cornwall and want to come scrapbooking just let me know as I have classes every month in are local village hall (Lewannick) and always love to have new people coming along.

Well this is just a short post to show you what my son (18) looked like when he went away for the weekend for christmas works party in December. HAHAHA There was a load of them and they were all dressed up even his boss was dress as the only gay in the village.

I just want to say so sorry for not being a good blogger and to all of you that have been
looking at my blog and there has been nothing new, I don't know what happened at the
end of last year what with having the flu what seems like a life time then Christmas and
then after Christmas lots of birthdays birthdays.

Well I am back for some more crafting.

This card was made for my friends daughter's 18th birthday, I enlarged the pink petticoat image then printed it onto bling bazzil card.

Her mum new what she wanted and was so pleased with the result.

I then made her a book for all her friends to sign at her 18th birthday, I got the idea
from my friend Caroline who made a beautiful pink on back in October for someone.
I used my new Bind-it-all machine that I got for Christmas. I used paper that was from a scrapaholix kit from last year,

I used my cricut to do the lettering, the
flower as of a gift take that i got on a bag at Christmas. Down the side where the wire
is I tided ribbons and black wool. Inside
the book i put 50 sheets of white paper, on
every other page i decorated them with
black flowers, ribbon, feather and black
rubons (not all on one page).

Hope you like what i have done, Well i may even put something else on later you never Know........

Well I know this is not a very exciting picture but this is what I have gathered.

I made this shopping list board the other
day, I used a bingo board Heidi Swapp papers and chip board letters. The side of the board was painted with my new dabbers and the chip board letters. The note pad is from are local Post Office. I covered a little frame and add a few flowers and buttons.

Paper is from Provo Christmas Stack, holly punched out using woodware punch add glitter. Christmas stamp is Dovecraft clear stamp(christmas set) then image is from pink Petticoat.

This layout that I have done is off my nan and her sister taken in the 30's. The kit that I have used is one from a http:/www.scrapaholic.co.uk/ retreat.

I have used 7 Gypsies Pias and Reggio paper, black and white card stock, white bloomer flower with a Junkitz flower. The rubber stamp is a Heidi Swapp Fabulous stamp, the sister word is made out of mount board with glitter.

Still trying to think of questions for quiz on sunday so if you can think of any please please let me know.

Well this an almost a job that husband has not quite finished but will do very soon (that is what he has said) but i can not get cross because he has done my craft room.

Had a great day yesterday cropping with some lovely ladies it was a Charity Craft Day in aid of the Children's Hospice South West. We had lunch provided which was wonderful there was a raffle and I WON a prize

was really please what a great prize. Then when got home in the evening went to pub for the quiz which i was then in the winning team we got 37 out of 40 not to bad, I now have to do the questions for next sunday so if any of you can think of a question then please let me know, but will have to have the answer (hahaha).

Well l have to go but will put layouts on blog tonight.

I am so sorry that I have not taken part in herspace-myspace for a few day

computer has been crashing on me every time I put the thing on, a few times

have wanted to through it across the room, I am now hoping that it has been

sorted (fingers crossed).

Well I have done my SHOW OF SUNDAY it is not anything of excitement but I just have to show of my new craft room, my husband has been wonderful and put new work surfaces for me I have nearly put ever thing back in there. The new floor is wonderful, as you can see from the photo's of how the room was at the beginning of the week to what it is like now. There are still odds and ends to go on the walls and a curtain to go round tumble dry that is still in there as no where else for it to go but with a curtain round it you will not know that it is there.

I am spending the day today Scrapbooking at a charity scrapbook day really looking forward to that as may catch up with my half finished projects. Went to a scrapbook class yesterday down at http://scrapangels.co.uk/ had great fun they are such a great group of ladies down there in St Agnes.

One of the most happiest of emotions. Whats exciting through your lens?

Well to carry on from yesterdays word i am very excited that my craft room is having a new floor, it will also have new work tops and shelves. My craft room is what should be the utility room but then there would be no craft room so I told husband craft room more important unless he wanted it to be in the rest of the house. Will show photo's of it when finished.

Oh forgot to say that the white thing in the room is the boiler we don't have gas in are village so have oil.

This week we are going to focus on emotions. We prompt you with one word and you translate it the best you can through your lens. Try hard as you can not to use a human face to reflect that emotion. For instance - Sad. A dying plant, a messy corner, mucky windows (we all have them at one point!)

Well yesterday was the word SAD well i am sad at the moment for several reasons computer crashed on Thursday so didn't get on here what i wanted to, came back from wedding with a bit of a chest of infection so haven't been well for last few day so that is why i am playing catch up today. The other reason that i am sad is i have no dinning room as craft room is having a new floor put in, all craft bit and pieces are are in there and just can not move in there.

I love this chimney it is out the front of are cottage with one of my favourite plants HEATHER, the reason that i like heather it is an all round plant. Don't have a lot of plants in my garden husband has been out gardening and all bulbs are in for the winter.

Well this is my fridge nothing exciting...... It has loads

of magnets on it which have all been given to me by my

friends and family. The pictures on there have been drawn by my niece who is 7 she is just an angel. The postcard at the top is the church at a place near Selsey, West Sussex called Church Norton. I have a magnet oh sorry that i did buy myself it has a saying on it " my husband lets me have a much craft stuff that i can hide" I love those words hahaha

Do you have a fave spot or piece of furniture in your bedroom? Show us what you got!

This picture is of my bed which i just love, it is about 6ft x 6ft which is great as my husband is 6ft 3" (I'm only just 5ft). The bed is the only thing that i like about the bedroom at the moment there is red very dark red wood chip paper which is coming off in a next few weeks and new wardrobe coming. We have done other rooms in the cottage first but it is time that our room is done.

This is my favourite window in our cottage,
it is in my kitchen it looks out on to the garden.
I am sorry if photo is a little dark and also it wasn't until I put it on computer that my husbands stepladders are in the back ground he has been painting the outside.
I love my kitchen scales they are old I got them at a car boot for 2 pounds (sorry pound sign not working on computer).
Pink Jug was given to me for Christmas from my daughter, plants are Cati, and some others that I can't remember what they are called not very good with names of plants if they look nice then i keep them even if they are weeds hahaha.
The thing at the front of the photo is called a fruit safe it has mesh so the flys can't get to the fruit. Well don't know what else can i say about this photo.

So this is SOS I am not quite sure what I am to show off but here goes..........

This is a photo of our cat called Milly and our puppy called Holly, we got Holly last December as a 9 week old puppy she is such a funny little thing. Milly is 6 years old we got her when she was 6 months old from a cat home she is a very quite cat just likes to sleep like most cat. When we got Holly, Milly didn't want to know so for the last 9 months they just stay away from each other until yeasterday and I was able to take this and many others.

Often a room used for convenience but have you a pretty little corner in your bathroom or something that you like about it?

Well took loads of photo's of my bathroom but was not happy with any apart from this one, it is a corner in bathroom just under the window. The pink duck was in my christmas stocking last year from my husband. The candles where a present for my 40th birthday in April they are so nice i just don't want to light them. The wicker ball is something I got years ago from Ikea.

Well I don't have a hallway so have taken a picture of my landing. The picture at the top is Called "and when did you last see your father?" by William Frederick Yeames I love this picture my sister and I brought it for our dad for Christmas about 7 years ago, when dad died 2 years ago mum gave it to me and it is pride of place on the top of the landing so everyone can see it. as every thing is pink in there but will use that on another day. As you might guess PINK is my favourite colour.

This is my first papertake weekly challenge
which is based on halloween.
I have used a muse stamps, a pumkin
die and then crystal lacquer on the little 'devils'

Well after all the nagging that I have had I have done my blog, well Caroline has set it up for me a big thank you to her. :~) . The first picture that I have put is a layout that I did at her house this weekend. It is my daughter who is now 17 years old and just had her first driving lesson today, which she was very worried about because she thought that she may kill the driving instructor. Hahaha.
For the layout I have used a kit which I got from this weekends Scrapaholic Retreat.It contained white, light and dark pink bazzill card, A book of Arctic Frog papers called lilly pad Flower show papers 6x6 , an assortment of flowers, 3 cut scrolls (cut from the cricut). I added from my own stash the letters which are from Boxer Scrapbook, a button and some crystal sticker gems.
